Who you are agreeing with

SalesImporter is operated by HMN Supplies LLC. These terms are an agreement between HMN Supplies LLC and you — or the business you are signing up on behalf of, in which case you confirm you are authorized to accept them for that business. By creating an account or using SalesImporter, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service. You can reach us at info@salesimporter.com.

What SalesImporter is — and is not

SalesImporter is bookkeeping software for ecommerce sellers. It reads your order, fee, and payout data from marketplaces you connect and records it as double-entry journal entries, from which it produces reports such as an Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Trial Balance.

It is not an accountant, a tax preparer, or a filing service, and nothing it displays is accounting, tax, or legal advice. We do not file returns, remit sales tax, or review your books. You remain responsible for your own records, filings, and deadlines, and for having a qualified professional review them where that is appropriate.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for what happens under your account. If your company has several users, whoever holds administrator rights controls what the others may see and do, and can add or remove them. Tell us promptly at info@salesimporter.com if you believe an account has been used without permission.

Connected marketplaces and banks

Connecting a marketplace or bank is done through that provider's own official login and consent screen — never a password typed into SalesImporter. You can disconnect at any time from within the app, and you may also revoke access from the provider's side.

What we can import depends entirely on what those providers make available, and on their own limits and availability. If a provider changes, restricts, or withdraws its API, the corresponding feature may change or stop working. That is outside our control, and it is why nothing here promises a specific marketplace will remain supported.

Plans, trials, and billing

There is a free plan. It requires no card and is never charged. What it includes — how many marketplace channels, how much order history, and how often your data syncs — is shown on the pricing page. Some features are available only on a paid plan; connecting a bank account automatically and importing your history from QuickBooks Desktop are the current examples. A free account is a real account: the books you keep in it are yours on the same terms as anyone else's.

Paid plans are billed in advance through Stripe, monthly or annually, at the price shown on the pricing page when you subscribe. Free trials end automatically; we do not charge a card during a trial unless you choose a plan.

Each plan includes a stated window of historical order data — the number of days shown on that plan's card. That window is measured from your signup date, and it is the limit on how far back a first sync will reach. Additional history can be purchased separately where offered.

You can cancel at any time from Billing in your account settings, which opens the Stripe customer portal. Cancelling stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for; we do not prorate or refund a period part-way through unless we are required to, or unless we agree otherwise in writing. If a payment fails and is not resolved, access to paid features may be suspended.

We may change prices or what a plan includes. If a change affects a plan you are already subscribed to, it applies from your next renewal, not mid-period, and we will tell you before it takes effect.

Your data belongs to you

Your books, and the data imported into them, are yours. We do not sell them, and we do not use them to advertise to you. We process them to run the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Downgrading a plan or ending a subscription does not delete your records and does not lock you out of the books you have already recorded. Plan limits restrict what you can add — a further marketplace channel, bank account, or team member — never what you can read of your own history.

While your account is active you can export your records yourself from the Export screen in your account — the full ledger, your Chart of Accounts, customers, vendors, items, invoices, bills and the rest, as CSV files in a single download, for any date range you choose. If you need something those exports do not cover, ask us at info@salesimporter.com and we will provide it. You can also ask us to delete your data.

If your subscription ends — whether you cancel or a payment does not go through — you do not lose your records and you are not locked out. Your account becomes read-only: you can still sign in, read everything, and export everything, for at least three years. You simply cannot record new transactions until the subscription is active again. Start paying again at any point in that window and everything is exactly where you left it.

On the free plan there is nothing to lapse: it is not billed, so it does not become read-only for non-payment. If we ever needed to change that — for example by closing accounts left unused for a long time — we would tell you first and give you a fair chance to export everything.

Feedback you send us

If you send us feedback, a bug report, or a suggestion, we may use it to fix and improve SalesImporter, without owing you anything for it. That is all we take from it — sending feedback gives us no rights over your books, and we will not publish your name or your company's alongside it without asking you first.

So that a report is actually actionable, the form sends some context with your message: the page you were on, your plan, your account status, and when your data last synced. Your transactions and figures are not included. This is set out in the Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

Use SalesImporter for your own business records. Do not use it to break the law, to misrepresent financial records to anyone entitled to rely on them, to gain access to another customer's data, to interfere with or overload the service, or to resell it as your own product without our written agreement.

Availability and accuracy

We work to keep SalesImporter available and its figures correct, and the reports are built from a real double-entry ledger with automated checks that reconcile one screen against another. Even so, the service is provided as it is: we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every figure it derives from third-party data will be complete or accurate. Verify anything you rely on for a filing, a lender, or a tax authority.

Limits on liability

To the extent the law allows, HMN Supplies LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, including lost profits, lost business, or penalties assessed against you, and our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Ending the agreement

You may stop using SalesImporter and close your account at any time. We may suspend or end an account that breaches these terms, that is being used unlawfully, or where payment has not been resolved — and except where the breach makes it unreasonable, we will give you a chance to put it right first, and a reasonable opportunity to export your data.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product changes. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised, and we will give notice of material changes rather than relying on you to notice. Continuing to use SalesImporter after a change takes effect means you accept the revised terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and the state and federal courts located in Nevada will have jurisdiction over any dispute — except where the law of your own country or state gives you rights that cannot be overridden by agreement.
